Archive for the “Uncategorized” CategoryTuesday 3rd week (8 May) sees us meeting once again in St Peter’s College, from 6 to approximately 7.30pm. All are welcome and it’d be great to see some new faces! Welcome back, one and all. I hope that you’ve all managed to survive the stresses of the vac (and any revision) more or less in tact. Did being at home make eating easier? Was it a complete nightmare? Come along to the first meeting of Trinity Term and get it all off your chest! We are, as ever, meeting on Tuesdays of odd weeks at 6pm, in the Dorfmann Centre at St Peter’s. Whether you’ve been before or not, and whether you’re a current ED sufferer, have suffered in the past, or simply know someone with disordered eating, we’d love to see you. Last term’s meetings were fantastically supportive and I’m so grateful to everyone who attended for their honesty and bravery! P.S. Enough is open to anyone with eating issues, whether or not you fit into a classic ‘ED’ category, so don”t feel put off if you haven’t been clinically diagnosed. Building on last week’s success and record attendance(!) we will be holding the last meeting before Easter on Tuesday of 9th week (that is the 13th March), as ever in the Dorfmann Centre at St Peter’s. If you are hanging around for fun revision, or if you’re a graduate and don’t actually get sickeningly long vacations, come and join us! I can’t stress enough how wonderfully open and supportive everyone who has already attended has been - and we always welcome new faces. Come, chat, moan, laugh and get it out in the open - it’s good for the soul. From 6pm until we’re finished (around 7.30). Tuesday of 7th week (27th Feb) will see the third meeting of Enough! taking place at St Peter’s College. We start at 6pm in the Dorfmann centre and finish around 7.30. After the success of the first two meetings, we’re hoping to continue the frank and open discussion with new and old(!) faces …. Come, chat, and get things off your chest in a friendly and supportive atmosphere - all are welcome! PS - this week we will start by looking at the treatment of EDs in literature, so if you’ve got a favourite poem, article or extract from a book, feel free to bring it along. |
